Me and my girlfriend always watch The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. I find it extremely entertaining and although I was suspicious at first, I am hooked now. Last seasons bachelor was interesting because when the cast was announced, I saw that a girl named Katie who auditioned for the job I had previously was going to be on the show. I had met her a few times and she seemed pretty cool so that made the show even more entertaining than usual.
Well cut to now, Katie is the Bachelorette and will have a season completely centered around her. I always watch this show and think about the drama, the flash, the craziness and think to myself, who would go through this on purpose?
I met my girlfriend under some crazy circumstances, but you know what would have made it even crazier? If it was part of a competition and it was being filmed. In my opinion the people on a show like this are all there for fame first, and love second, or sometimes not there for love at all. I don't think if you were looking for love, this show would even come across your mind as a good idea. You are confined to one person or a handful depending upon your position in the show. You are forced to interact in strict time periods. Nothing about it is ideal for finding a potential life partner. This is just my opinion. I might be wrong. MIGHT. Notice how I capitalized might, because I am not wrong.
