When Apple first announced its iOS 16 updates for iPhones in June, one of the most attention-grabbing additions was the new text editing function That finally allows you to fix anything from spelling errors, embarrassing message sends, or even texting the wrong person by accident. The update was on Monday, but here’s what you need to know. It only works on iPhones from 2017 or later. Both sender and recipient have the be updated with version 16. Text sent to non-Apple users can’t be edited.
Oh, and don’t wait too long. You have to edit within 15 minutes of sending…and can unsend within 2 minutes.
