Kanye West's Obsession With Kim Kardashian Isn't Romantic; It's Alarming

Every day there is a new headline about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Kanye's obsession with Kim is troubling and concerning. I am someone that lived through a narcissistic abuse cycle that eerily matches the public theatrics Kanye has been broadcasting.

He has bought a house across from hers, accosted her new boyfriend Pete Davidson to the point of threatening violence, has delivered unwanted gifts to her home the most infamous a truck full of roses, has posted private text conversations, etc. The list goes on and on.

By using his public platform to harass Kim and her family he puts them in a dangerous situation concerning the public and creates an extremely emotionally abusive situation.

Why is Kanye not being called out on his behavior by people of influence and decision-makers? Why is this man still being allowed to headline Coachella? Why is he not being held accountable for his actions?

There is a certain degree of separation when it comes to removing an artist from their work. But when that same platform he has been given by his fans is being used to hurt others, the world should pause and take notice by adjusting their views on how much fanfare we give an individual. Especially when that individual uses it for inflicting pain on others.
