Somehow, Cardi gets dragged into any social media controversy, and Lizzo’s apology over using the word “spaz” in her song “GRRRLs” was the latest topic that Cardi was forced to weigh in on.
“Ya will do mental gymnastics to include me in anything that people are getting dragged for,” Cardi wrote. “People have called me out for plenty of shi_t. Yall do it every week. SOMETHINGS I apologize for & some things I will tell y’all TO SUCK DI_K & personally, If I was Lizzo I would of said SMD!” Lizzo was called out on social media for using the word because it is derogatory to those who suffer from cerebral palsy. Lizzo changed the lyrics and was praised for the change.
