Huge neighborhood bar vibes! I love Joyner's. It feels like a place where everyone should know your name. The building is in a cool triangle shape with both indoor and outdoor seating. The bar is classy and warm, and the bartenders are super friendly and make great drinks.
The Undercurrent Restaurant
Want an amazing, classy meal for a beautiful date night? The Undercurrent Restaurant is for you! Located in downtown Greensboro, it has been on my list of places to try for a while and I am so glad I did! The atmosphere was great, the food and presentation were amazing, and the service was impeccable. We ordered the lobster and shrimp spring rolls, grilled joyce farms chicken breast and skillet seared salmon.
Summer Music Series
The Summer Music Series is kicking off with its first event, Summer on Fourth, featuring West End Mambo, Saturday, June 17th from 7-10pm in front of Foothills Brewpub on Fourth Street. This marks the 25th season of the Summer Music Series, which has a long history of bringing the community together through free concerts downtown. As part of the changes, Saturday night concerts will now be held on Fourth Street between Poplar and Spruce. Additionally, Downtown Jazz will continue as usual with five concerts in Corpening Plaza, starting on June 23rd.
