Guess who's going to see Taylor Swift? This gal! If you're going to one of her shows, you know the first step in creating your outfit is picking the era you want to personify. I picked her "Lover's" era between 2019 and 2020. It highlights lots of bright colors, pinks, rainbows, and kitschy glam. My rainbow glitter cardigan is from Modcloth and comes out almost every year with their Pride collection. MY hot pink dress, red heart sunglasses, pink fish nets, and my Betsey Johnson pink glitter booties are all from Amazon! Yes, I got real Betsey Johnson shoes from Amazon for way cheaper than I would from re-sellers or the brand's website. What isn't pictured are my big fluffy white angel wings, also from Amazon. Quick tip if wearing wings or something similar: turn them into floating wings.
You do this by removing the arm straps, and tapping a strong magnet to your costume piece. Then tape another magnet on the inside of your dress/cardigan of where you want the wings to be, and viola! Floating wings.
Looking for a good, bold, colorful eye liner? I tried out NYX's matte eyeliner, purchased at Ulta, and it wasn't bad! It's a little tricky to get the hang of putting it on, and will take a few tries to master. But it help up all day long. It did start to peel at the end of the day, but I think that can be fixed if you prep your eye correctly beforehand. I got the hot pink and white colors. Only $9 a bottle!
Those Betsey Johnson booties! I bought them when they were over $40 off, priced at $70. Right now they are bumped back up. But I have been watching this vendor for awhile. The prices change quite a bit. Keep your eye on this bootie in your chosen color and size, and strike when the price goes down.
