While performing in Tennessee, Lizzo made it a point to show her disdain for the state's new anti-drag bill. During her performance, she filled the stage with drag queens to protest the Tenessee law that banned drag shows throughout the state. Lizzo told fans she didn't cancel her show despite being asked to do so. "Why would I not create a safe space in Tennessee where we can celebrate drag entertainers and celebrate our differences?"
