Kanye West is planning to run for president again. The musician, who has legally changed his name to Ye, ran for office in 2020 but conceded his run after winning just 50-thousand votes and failing to make the ballot in several states. In a video circulating on Twitter Sunday, Ye said he’s enlisting the services of the far-right Milo Yiannopoulos to help with his campaign. The cameraman then asks the 45-year-old rapper if he is officially running for president and Ye said, “Yes. It’s simple ’cause ain’t nobody can tell me, you know, ‘you should say this, you shouldn’t say that,’ you know? It’s just we’re moving towards the future.” This whole past year, Ye has been embroiled in controversy: with cyberbullying and online threats made towards Pete Davidson and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, being suspended by Twitter for hate speech, and being dropped by many of his endorsements and business partners because of his actions and remarks.
