Today in the 7:40 Smile, I talked about an eighth grader who wanted to make a difference in her school. Paityn Ricker was devastated when she heard her school was getting ride of a program to help feed her hungry classmates. So what did Payton do to help? Wrote a grant proposal for her school and was awarded $5000! WOW!
