Sherman Needs A Home! He Might Be Your New Best Friend!

Today's Furry Friends feature is showing off this handsome boy: Sherman! Learn a little bit about Sherman from the Guilford County Animal Services website:

Hey Everyone, here is Sherman! He is a 7-year-old bully mix (he looks like a Staffordshire terrier mix) with a lot of spunk for his age and TONS of love! He's completed HW treatment and his skin is healing up nicely. He loves his ball or any very durable chew toy and enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood. He pulled like a tractor when we got him but has since calmed down and walks nicely on the leash. He's ok with a crate but prefers to be with you or relax on the sofa.

He needs to be the only dog since he doesn't like to share his toys at all! Also, no small children since he resources guards toys. A fenced yard would be perfect, he loves to lay in the sun and roll in the grass! Hasn't been around cats but based on his reaction to cats on walks, it's probably not a good idea. He's a very easy-going dog that would be perfect for someone with a laid-back lifestyle! We ADORE him, but we have a 2-year-old dog that is way too active for him long-term. This boy deserves a loving home!
