On the day Roe v. Wade was reversed, the Anschutz Corporation, which owns AEG Presents, and is the parent company of Coachella, donated $75,000 to RAGA, according to an IRS filing.
RAGA is gearing up for election season to install Attorneys Generals who will enforce and champion anti-abortion laws in Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Ohio, and Florida, where the laws are in limbo. The Anschutz Corporation denies that it or its owner received, saw, or was aware of the RAGA fundraising solicitation, telling Rolling Stone that they have donated to RAGA since 2014 and that "Philip F. Anschutz believes in a woman's right to choose and did not support the reversal of Roe."
Several Coachella artists were vocal about their stance after the reversal of Roe v. Wade, including Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Harry Styles, and Stagecoach artists Maren Morris and Brandi Carlile.
