Ever since Halle Bailey was cast as Ariel in Disney's live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, I could hear Halle angelic voice "ah-ah-ahhh"-ing in my head but I've truly wondered how the Disney princess' look would change.
Pictures leaked from the set show Halle is sporting down-to-the-booty, auburn colored locs.
Spoiler alert: she looks adorable, even dressed in what looks like a potato sack.
Halle has styled her natural hair in locs for years but this wig has fans wondering if Halle's Ariel will have red hair like the animated original. I honestly don't care if her hair isn't colored a deeper red in post-production. Story matters more to me than holding hair and makeup recreating the original looks to a T. The shooting location already looks different from the 1989 feature -- more tropical and lush.
